We performed with Pasha!
35 Talented young dancers from the Ipswich School of Dancing took to the stage with BBC Strictly Come Dancing Stars Pasha Kovalev and Anya Garnis as part of their Magic of Hollywood Tour.
On April 22nd the budding stars travelled to The Princes Theatre in Clacton to perform. This is the sixth year that Pasha has invited the Ipswich School of Dancing to join him.
Their teacher Emma Hawley says "The children have been working so incredibly hard on this project for the past six months. It is the highlight of the calendar and they have been extremely excited about meeting Pasha. For some of them it’s not their first time but the magic of it doesn’t seem to subside. Its a great experience for them to meet their idols. During the training for this they also get to see how hard they must work and how dedicated they need to be to achieve their goals.
I’m very proud of each and every one of them. They have created a great friendship group and worked together, helping one another, pulling together as a team to share this experience.
The cheers from the audience showed how well they had done and I’m sure this is an evening they won’t be forgetting anytime soon!"
The young dancers now begin work on their next project which is their Christmas Show. The children enjoy performing at different events. For more information contact Emma Hawley.
