Welcome Sophie!

We would like to welcome the wonderful Sophie Stannard to our teaching team!

Sophie is 19 years old and has been working with us over the last couple of years. She has built up a great relationship with many of our dancers already and has now been offered a permanent position within the Ipswich School of Dancing. We are very pleased to have Sophie working with us and know she will be an asset to our school.

Sophie has trained in dance since she was two years old, studying Ballet, Tap and Jazz. She has gained all examinations in UTD from Primary to Elementary Module Two and has trained in contemporary dance for ten years. Sophie attended professional dance college for two years furthering her training in those dance styles and also gaining experience in commercial and hip hop. She has participated in many performances from local ones at DanceEast to the Main stage at Move It!

Sophie says "I love teaching because it gives me the opportunity to not only help others improve in what they love, I get to share my passion and enjoyment for dance with them also. I have danced and taught dance my whole life and I can’t wait to continue doing so with Ipswich School of Dancing.
