Competitions are back!

With life slowly beginning to return to the realms of "normality", we are excited to share with you that we have had confirmation of in-person competitions returning from July. We are so impressed with how hard everyone has been working both online and back in the studio and can't wait share the next steps of your dance journey with you.

Are you a seasoned competitor who can't wait to get back to feeling the buzz of the competition floor? Or perhaps you are new to dance and would love to work towards qualifying for a spot to compete in the world renowned Empress Ballroom? Competitions give us that little extra push and a goal to work towards with the glitz and glam and the strictly sparkle! Generally speaking if you wish to compete you will need to have a 1:1 lesson each week as well as your group class(es). We have some fantastic offers on 1:1 lessons so please do get in touch if you would like to give it a try.

Costuming is another important factor to consider when entering a competition and one which your teacher will guide you through. With the lockdown last year there are plenty of dancers who have outgrown stunning outfits and are looking to swap or buy and sell second hand, so don't let the price of this put you off.

We now have a list of Blackpool Grand Finals qualifier dates to share with you. Please note these events will only go ahead if government guidelines permit and they will be run slightly differently.

4th July - Gillingham, Kent

8th August - Gillingham, Kent

5th September - Cambridge

19th September - Ipswich

6th & 7th November - Blackpool Grand Finals, Empress Ballroom, Winter Gardens, Blackpool

Competitions are open to all ages from under 6's to the over 75's, and all abilities of dancer with events split into both age and grade categories. We have a wonderful time together, sharing amazing experiences and encouraging one another to achieve our best.
